One day a kind and gentle man and a few of His closest friends got into a fishing boat and crossed a large lake. On the other side, the man stepped out of the boat and was immediately confronted by a snarling, crazed beast. This beast had a reputation with the local population as vicious and dangerous. Several times they had even caught it and chained it, only to have it break the chains and escape into the surrounding hills. Day and night the people could hear it screaming as it roamed about. Everyone was terrified of it, everyone except one man. As the beast ran toward the gentle man and his friends, something miraculous happened. It stopped, bowed down before the man, and spoke. In a screaming voice it said to the man, “What do I have to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God, do not torment me!” This beast was really a man!

This is just a small part of a story, a true story. What does it have to do with Grace Bible Church? Well, in a way, God is using us to continue this story. He is using us to make known the hero of this story, and of many other stories, where this same gentle man confronted the evil of His day, and triumphed again and again.

Grace Bible Church is people. Our lives are knit together in a tapestry of radiant color and diversity, and blended together by our mutual love for Jesus Christ. We are here on earth to continue His story, to love Him, serve Him, obey Him, and follow Him. Who we are, is defined by Him. We are His disciples.

This web site is a glimpse into who we are, why we are here, and what we are doing in our part of the ongoing story of Jesus Christ’s reign over all He has made.
